Cirrus Vodka Bronx Martini
This cocktail adds a little orange juice to the mix. If you are looking for a classic
style martini that is not as dry as most martinis, this is the ideal recipe.
Legend has it the Bronx was created by Johnnie Solon around 1900 at the Waldorf
Astoria. Ironically, Solon purportedly never touched a drop of liquor, but had an
uncanny ability to create delicious cocktails.
Another great piece of cocktail lore is that a Bronx Martini was the first alcoholic
drink of a young soldier returning from WWI named Bill Wilson. Twenty years later,
he founded Alcoholics Anonymous.
